Give ChatGPT instructions on how to use AI to find the best grants. Think of these instructions as a cookie recipe.

Here’s a simple way to do it:

1. Prepare Your Instructions: Could you tell the AI what grants you need? For example, do you want grants to help animals, build playgrounds, or start after-school programs? The more details you give, the better the AI can help.

2. Download the XML File: This is a fancy way of organizing all the grant information. You can get this file from Grants.GOV, which lists all available grants. It’s like an extensive list of all the gifts we discussed earlier. You can download the XML file from this link: Grants.GOV XML Extract.

3. Upload the XML File: Next, you upload this file to ChatGPT. This is like handing your grant assistant to find the best ones to pursue.

4. Let ChatGPT Do Its Magic: ChatGPT will review all the grants in the file and select the ones that best match your needs. It will even rank them to see which ones are the most perfect for your organization.

5. Review the Results: After ChatGPT finishes, you’ll get a list of the top grants that match your needs. You can look at this list and decide which ones to apply for.

Let’s walk through the steps to create an instruction file, download the XML file from Grants.GOV, and upload it into ChatGPT.

Prepare Your Instruction File

Download the XML File from Grants.GOV

• Run the Analysis: Instruct ChatGPT to analyze the grants based on your search criteria and send the instruction prompt after uploading the file. ChatGPT will sift through all the grants and select those that match your criteria.
